Why choose Fristads work clothes? Because quite simply its the best! The founder of FRISTADS wanted people who bought his work clothes- to wear clothes that you can work in, he designed functional garments and his motto was: "Twice the wear is half the price" John Magnuson Founder of FRISTADS 1925 Today FRISTADS clothing is selected by many international and national companies - chosen because their employees feel good and the garments just wear and wear. Some of these companies are very well known to us: Shell, Coca Cola, DFS, Carlsberg as well as thousands of Plumbers, Electricians, Carpet & Flooring fitters, Engineers etc. Unbeatable durability and features. Swedish work clothes combine tool belts, nail aprons and padding to make any worker's life easier. Fristad's founder, John Magnuson, began his career by importing work clothes from America (to Sweden). This was in 1925 and there was nothing similar to be bought in Sweden. It was not long, however, before John decided to start manufacturing the clothes himself. He found premises he could rent very cheaply and eight skilled seamstresses in the little village of Fristad, outside Boras. He invested right from the beginning in the production of a whole series of hard-working work clothes, dungarees and trousers, overalls, blousons, short coats and thick flannel shirts. Today, Fristads Sverige AB has sales of just over 800 million Swedish Kronor, and 260 employees at the head office in Boras. It offers a range of 3500 different types of garment, 550 of which are always in stock. Each year, Fristads manufactures more than 3-1/2 million garments. Fristads is the market leader in Sweden and is represented in the other Nordic countries, and most of the countries in Europe. |
